Equinox is a black Indian pale ale (IPA) with 5.9% alcohol content. This beer is designed to provide a multi-sensory experience with its dark appearance and creamy head. On the taste, it offers a complex and well-balanced flavour profile, featuring bitter chocolate and sweet roasted malt, complemented by citrus and pineapple’s sharpness. The unique taste is achieved using a blend of Chinook, Cascade, and Mount Hood hops, creating a distinct “Hop Americana” flavour. This beer is a perfect accompaniment to chargrilled steaks, meat, and poultry with spicy rubs and blackened salmon or black cod. In November 2014, it won the SIBA Craft Beer in Keg competition, making it the overall winner.
